Molino Dam project to
HydropureTech Philippines Corporation

In recent developments, Maynilad Water Systems Inc. awarded the Molino Dam Modular Treatment Plant (ModTP) project to Hydropure Tech Philippines Corporation (HPTC).
The contractor met all the requirements of MAYNILAD to design and build a water treatment facility able to produce 5.5 Million liters of water per day and help provide clean potable water to the nearby communities of Bacoor, Cavite.
The treatment process begins wherein raw water is drawn from the nearby dam into the Intake Structure then flows through the Intake Pump that transports the water to what is known as pre-treatment, this ensures a steady water supply for processing before it reaches the Ultrafiltration units.
Certain bacteria, viruses and other contaminants in the water are eliminated and filtered out during its final process. This results to treated water that meet the health and safety standards of MAYNILAD, assuring the people of Bacoor, Cavite that the water supplied from the Molino dam Treatment Plant water reservoir is of the highest standard and is safe for consumption and usage.
The Molino Modular Treatment Plants (ModTP) contract awarded to Hydropure Tech Philippines Corporation (HTPC) is evidence of the superb quality and importance of their services. Their design, construction and maintenance of the Modular Treatment Plant (ModTP) in Molino help solve current issues of
water shortages due to climate change.
Water supply from the Angat Dam faced challenges and were inevitably affected whilst the demand for clean, potable water continuously increases. This severely affected Metro Manila’s water supply which led to households experiencing rotational water interruptions randomly especially during the dry season of summer in the Philippines.
Because of this problem and the ever increasing demand for accessibility to safe and clean water, Maynilad Water Systems Inc. (MAYNILAD) opted to find alternative options, more reliable solutions that will have an immediately augment the current water supply shortage.
One of them is its engagement with Hydropure Tech Philippines Corporation, with over 30 years of expertise in the field, the company was considered for the project of constructing a Modular Treatment Plant (ModTP) stationed in Molino, Imus Cavite, one of the various dam locations within the concession of MAYNILAD.
