AmanPulo group awards contract
to Hydropure Tech Philippines Corp.
to build seawater desalination plant

Trusted water treatment and solutions provider Hydropure Tech Philippines Corp. was awarded a contract to build a Reverse Osmosis Seawater Desalination Plant on Aman Pulo, Aman Group’s premiere luxury island resort in El Nido, Palawan on July 2021.
The project grants the company permission to help augment Aman Pulo’s
current water supply on the island since they solely rely on desalination systems for the island’s daily water needs.
The coverage of the contract is to build a fully automated seawater desalination system capable of producing
80,000 GPD or 300 Cubic Meters per day.
Hydropure Tech Philippines Corp’s Seawater Desalination Water Systems plant built on the island is equipped with a fully automatic 80,000 GPD water treatment system to ensure quality water at any time. This includes an energy recovery device for maximum efficiency. What this does is the system eliminates salts up to 98% and generates purified and potable water through reverse osmosis eliminating
salt and other contaminants. It uses high pressure pumps and semi- permeable membranes effectively removing dissolved salts, heavy metals leading to fresh and potable water for all their needs.
The scope of the project granted to Hydropure Tech Philippines Corp. is not limited to just building the treatment plant but is a full service contract from design, to procurement, construction and installation. This shows the continued trust and confidence Aman Pulo placed on Hydropure Tech Philippines Corp. to provide solutions to meet the resort’s current demands.
The company also built a product water tank capable of holding 400 cubic meters for the storage of all desalinated treated water for the resort. The completion of this project improves their daily water supply ensuring that the water being consumed is safe and free of any contaminants.
In conclusion, Hydropure Tech Philippines Corp. built and designed a more sustainable water filtration system equipped to face even the more complex water challenges and meet environmental standards to provide Aman Pulo with clean water for their everyday use.
