La Mesa Water Dam Treatment Plant Project Awarded to Hydropure Tech Philippines Corporation by MAYNILAD

One of the challenges being faced in the operation of the La Mesa Treatment Plant is the extraction of
raw water from the Novaliches Portal when water levels are low or below it’s expected withdrawal capabilities.
In addition, La Mesa Treatment Plant 2 also face adversities in their diversion pipes which also limit their capability to withdraw raw water. In order to solve this, the project of Maynilad Water Systems Inc.’s La Mesa Water Treatment Plant project was granted to Hydropure Tech Philippines Corporation.
Hydropure Tech Philippines Corporation (HTPC), one of Maynilad Water System Inc.’s partners is once again awarded with a project that aims to achieve increased extraction of raw water from either or both La Mesa Treatment Plants 1 and 2 (LP1 & LP2).
The contract covers not only the purchase and design of the Mobile Raw Water Pumps but also the installation and build of a raw water pumping and piping system. This system ensures that the raw water pumped goes to where it needs to go in the Dam.
The pumps Hydropure Tech Philippines Corporation purchased from the Netherlands underwent a series of performance tests and inspections alongside its vendor partner to make sure that all equipment meet the desired standards.
